Step 1: Timing is Everything
A. When you shave can be as important as how you shave.
B. If it works for your schedule, shave in the evening. Shaving can sometimes make the skin feel taut. So shave in the evening to soothe your skin during the night.
C. Shave when you’re on your game. Not when you’re half-asleep or in a big rush.
Step 2: Exfoliate Excellently
A. Exfoliation is extra-important. It gets rid of dead skin cells, softens skin, and helps to release ingrown hairs.
B. You might want to steer clear of coarse body scrubs. Try a gentle scrub with fruit stone extracts.
C. When you shave after exfoliating, the razor will glide across your skin more smoothly. Plus, the results will last longer!
Step 3: Sensitive Don’ts
A. Don’t put on deodorant or antiperspirant immediately after shaving. That can cause irritation.
B. Careful with hair removal (depilatory) creams: The chemicals can cause irritation on sensitive skin.
